Warden’s Identity Card

A Warden’s identity card differed from the standard card issued to civilians in having an extra page for the inclusion of the holder’s description and photograph. This page had to be countersigned by another person with personal knowledge of the holder.
No photograph has been attached to this identity card. It was only required if “necessary for the purpose of the service to which the holder belongs”.
